    AFC Fylde won 5-0
(I'll mention them one last time for winning this league, can't be many bigger 3/1 chances out there)

I'm going with Leeds at Cardiff today. It looks like they are taking a strong team for this, along with 6,000 fans.
Cardiff have been a bogey team for Leeds but i dont think so today.

2-2. Dont back in the FA Cup, dont back against the bogey team. I never ever learn :grr

I think it was great value at that price. Room for a small cover bet if needed, confident they're going to be bang there though. Good luck us!

I ought to keep my bets to the National League North only, thinking about it. I watch a fair bit of it.
Watched Hereford v Scarborough last Saturday, and again home tonight v Farsley Athletic. Got an away ticket against Gloucester this Saturday. Bit of a derby that one, i'll have to put my bovver boots on for that one.

The trouble with betting in this league is the amount of players that come and go. It can change things so quickly.
I dont know how many players Hereford got through last season but it must of been close to 40.
There's dual registration, monthly contracts and the most un-loyal of players to deal with.

I'll give it a go this weekend.

Just had my 2nd Antepost bet of the season. A Champions League bet.

Nobody scored more goals in the group stages than Napoli (20), while only conceding 6, in a group with Liverpool, Ajax and Rangers (they ripped Liverpool apart in the opener, should of had 8). They impressed me in every group game.
Currently well clear at the top of Serie A, nobody has scored more, 44 against 14.

I do have City as favourites but i'm wondering how far Napoli can go. They just know how to score goals this season and dont concede to many either. After City they've a good a chance as any imo.

Not the most difficult of ties in the last 16 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

    Winner @ 14/1 Unibet ew, 1/2 1-2
    Top 4 finish @ 9/4

Also split 20 on individual games this weekend. I'm going to be betting like this for the coming weeks.
I have to mention that while i am backing them, i only have access to Unibet online, or Ladbroke shop prices these days, both shit. You are likely to find better odds elsewhere if anything catches your eye.

3 out of the 5 up, AFC Fylde, Charlton and Southampton.

    Staked 20.00

I've got 3 games of interest midweek, all in the National League North.

AFC Fylde should win at home against a struggling Buxton. I say should but this league is full of surprises.
I watched Scarborough at Hereford a couple of weeks back, despite getting beat they looked a decent team under Champions League winner, Jonathan Greening.
Brackley and Kings Lynn are going for the title, big game this for both. I fancy the draw.

AFC Fylde to beat Buxton 10.00 @ 3/5
    AFC Fylde -1 4.00 @ 13/8
    Scarborough at Bradford PA, 3.00 @ 5/4
    Brackley v Kings Lynn, draw, 3.00 @ 2/1

Non league football is great isn't it. Shite pies, shite beer. Hereford are robbing me blind at £17 a ticket. I could go watch West Brom for £25.
Massive game tonight for Kings Lynn and Brackley. Two of the three title contenders. Fylde and Kings Lynn still to play each other twice.

A 1-0 Fylde win and another postponed game, from midweek.

    Staked 20.00
    Returned 19.00

Not high in confidence this weekend but i'm having a punt anyway...

Despite losing back to back home games Darlington have been pretty spectacular away. They have won 6 on the trot, including scoring 11 in the last two of them!
The only reason i've not had a bigger stake on them for their trip to Banbury is because i'm worried about joining the party too late.

My only other bet in the National League North is a relegation battle. Kettering has similar form to Curzon Ashton over the last 5 games and they are only separated by two points. There's over 2/1 about the home win, which might turn out to be a little bit of value, considering this could lift them out of the relegation zone and 5 places up the table with other results going their way.

    Darlington at Banbury 4.00 @ 29/20
Kettering to beat Curzon Ashton 4.00 @ 21/10
Charlton at Peterborough, double chance 3.00 @ 19/20
    Charlton at Peterborough 2.00 @ 13/4
    Arsenal v Man Utd, Red Card 5.00 @ 24/5
Liverpool v Chelsea, Anytime Scorer, Alexander Arnold 2.00 @ 10/1

Yeah 3 placed, a small but welcome profit. Mutabaahy, a bit short of room and got out just too late.

I have an old favourite running tomorrow, BOWERMAN in the 5.00 at Dundalk.
Once got beat only a head to Stradivarius. Ageing now though and ran poorly lto.
Good to see Colin Keane back on him, they have been a good partnership, i'm hoping he can get at least one more good run out of him.
    Each Way @ 9/1, 4 places.

I've had a few small bets on the football for the weekend too..

I'm off to watch Hereford again this weekend, home to Banbury.
Hereford have done nothing more than ok of late, 3W 1D 1L
Banbury haven't played for 3 weeks, losing 5-0 at Leaders Fylde, last time.
Should be a decent crowd, a competitive game and i just fancy us to edge it.

Blyth's odds caught my eye despite them being in the relegation zone. A home win against Buxton, who have lost 4 on the trot , including losses against 2 of the bottom 3, could see them go above their visitors.

Kiddie Harriers, after a poor first half of the season have started to pick up a little bit, W2 D3 from their last 5.
On the verge of the play offs, i've chanced them at Peterborough Sports to make it back to back away wins.

Brackley have only lost once in their last 20 league games, they will probably beat Gloucester but the odds for the away are too big for me not to have a small punt. Gloucester 1W 4D of late. 9/2 - 5/1 would of been worth thinking about but 15/2... they aren't that far apart.

    Hereford to beat Banbury, 5.00 @ 23/20
    Blyth to beat Buxton 4.50 @ 7/5
    Harriers at Peterborough 4.00 @ 29/20
    Charlton to beat Bolton 4.00 @ 33/20
    Gloucester at Brackley 2.50 @ 15/2

    Also added small multiples

Cheers Slick. I thought it was a good game for a neutral. Arsenal have closed the gap, but they're still not at City's level yet. Lovely goal from Ake.
Rico Lewis has been doing a great job since being given the opportunity too. I know he wont be starting too many this season but well done to him.

After being in last for most of the race Bowerman ran on well to nab 4th place @ 20/1. I didn't get that but i did add more @ 16/1 and it's given me the opportunity to give it them back tomorrow..

Watching Arsenal was like watching a younger version of City, Arteta has certainly learned from Pep and doing a blinding job imo, I think they will only get better.
I think the goal from Ake was a fluke, it looked good initially but when i saw the replay I'm sure it was a pass meant for Haaland, either way he deserved MOM as he's had a great season and getting better and better out there on the left.

Rico Lewis is going to be a fantastic player, a lot's been asked of him lately as he's being asked to move into midfield and become the extra man , it's a lot to ask of a teenager who's only used to playing full back.
after a dodgey first half he was a lot more solid when Stones went off injured towards the end of the half and he reverted to his natural full back position, he was unlucky to be subbed just as he was getting into the game Imo.
He's still a kid and learning, he's gonna be a belter.

Good luck with the nags mate.

Can't believe Cancelo left in a hurry, Slick. Will you miss him?

Poor week last week, just one winner on the football, Kiddie Harriers. 9.92 returned.
A return off the horses was just about enough to buy a Freddo.

I'm going with a Home Trixie to start this weekend...

Fulham have a really poor record at the Bridge. I fancy Chelsea to win this and the odds are a little bit bigger than i thought they would be.

Salford also look to have some generous odds about them, considering they are at home and are still in the hunt for automatic promotion, maybe even the title. And the fact they're playing bottom of the table Rochdale, who have lost 3 on the trot, two of which were against fellow strugglers, has me a bit puzzled as to why they're Even money??

Alfreton, i've never watched or backed for or against them. I've always found them a bit hard to predict so have always left them alone. But they have had a pattern of going away and drawing and winning at home, over the last six games. Good form and play offs insight.
They face a Boston team who must be as low as a snakes belly after last weeks result. Leading 0-2 at half time at Kettering, they went on to lose the game 3-2, seeing Kettering come out of the relegation zone and Boston slipping in to it. They have lost 7 of their last 10 games.

Chelsea to beat Fulham @ 3/5
Salford to beat Rochdale @ 19/20
Alfreton to beat Boston @ 23/20
