Good luck TD, could be a good shout as Denmark are starting to look a tough nut to crack and Belgium are three years older from the great team they had at the last WC.

I'll post up all the first round fixtures tomorrow.

Will have a good look at this over the weekend and post my bets - skybet got a good offer on golden boot winner. Bet £10 on the winner and for each goal scored you get a free £3 bet

With Italy playing their group games at home they look like group winners for me. Italy recent results have been very good. For Wales to progress( 2nd / top four 3rd) we need four points. I'm hoping that Italy win their first two matches . Not losing the first game is a big factor in this tournament . The second one is the one to win , I believe that Turkey are overrated and had some inconsistent results and do concede .
Wales results in the friendlies have been poor as is usually the case.

In 2016 Wales just had one game plan , which worked in the games against Russia and Belgium whilst our other performances depended on Gareth Bale rescuing us. Now with Page in charge we have three "systems" . Plan A as played against France in the first half , plan B as played in the first half against Albania and plan C as played in the second half against Albania. Plan C has us playing with Keiffer Moore. I think Moore will be on the bench in the first and third game , against the Swiss I can see Neco Williams being given the job of man marking Shaqiri. Ramsey is a hero for the Welsh fans but how do we squeeze him into the team will be difficult. Dan James performances for Wales are much superior to his United contribution. Our full backs have performed well . Who partners Rodon in the center is one conundrum , the other is who partners Joe Allen in front of the defence.

Gone with Ferran Torres for the golden boot at 33/1.
Howson mentioned yesterday that Skybet are running a promotion whereas you get a free £3 bet every time your nominated golden boot winner scores.
Stake has to be over £10 to qualify.

Gone with Lukaku, odds arent great but Belgiums group is bad, was tempted by Griesmann but Frances group is tough.

Backed Italy to win it at 8s, been in very good form for a while now and they have a good route to the quarters, if they win the group. France will be there or thereabouts, that squad is too good not to be.

Got Italy and Denmark dual forecast, France to win the group and Italy to win the group in a treble.

Will be doing some more as the tournament progresses

    Been a while!!!
Dunno why but I haven't had a bet for almost 2 years. So today I popped into Ladbroke's and grabbed some slips and off for breakfast.

After doing some quick research without popping on here as I had forgotten my login details. Decided to go for Italy -2 tonight.

Good to see majority of the folks still here! Will be looking for some daily tips and opinions from you lot over the next fortnight!

England , greatt set of players , just not a great team.
Manager plays not to lose rather than win.
Knocked out in the last 16 by France or Portugal.

8/1 for Turkey against s slow starting Italian team tonight , might go for that or Turkey +1 around 2.20.
Italy unbeaten in 20+ games , but not covinced by front players or the ageing defence.

We do have a good team just that we don't have a manager with any balls as the last world cup shown.

All Southgate does is play to the media and picks the side they want to see, I reckon the Daily Mail has more of a say in picking the side than he does.

I said it in the last world world cup and I'll say it again, While Pickford is in nets we have no chance and that's the the first line on the team sheet without going any further.

No team will win anything with a dwarf in the goal, when he addresses that I'll work my way up the team sheet.

Wales look slightly over priced imo as their main players come back from injuries unless I'm missing something.

It'll be similar to the last time. Scotland always up their game against England but ultimately England have a squad full of players that ply their trade in arguably the best league's and clubs in the world.
They have the fine balance of experience and youth as well. Youth like Fodden, Mason Greenwood etc all coming through.

As for bets I would go for England -1. I have a feeling England will be like Italy last night, dominant for most of the game but we will counter attack if Scotland score I reckon it will be from outside the box. England to win 3-1 Kane anytime scorer.

Either way gonna be a good game!

The game of interest for me today is... Austria vs North Macedonia, these 2 met in Qualifying and Austrians ran out winners in both matches.
They won the first one convincingly 4-1 with a high percentage of possession. However the rematch was much more even in shots on goal, possession and closer result 2-1 to Austria.

This North Macedonia team is going to shock a few. They already stunned Germany 2-1. They seem to have learned how to withstand pressure and counter (how they got the winning goal against Germany in dying minutes)
I just have a gut feeling they are going to shock the Austrian squad who appear too confident.
Going to go for North Macedonia 2-1 and both teams to score.

    Good day guys,

Long time since I've been on site so hope all are well and enjoying the sunshine.

On another forum I've just started running a Euro21 competition and need more support.
Are any of you guys willing to enter your predicted scores for duration of competition. PLEASE

    https://www.thefootballforum.net/th...nterest-open-to-all.23023/page-8#post-1040606
Page 8 at 10.08 am by FGR Stroud.

Rules: 1 point for correct forecast, 3 points for perfect result.
I'd be prepared to accept forecasts on this forum and post duplicate league table on both forums.

Thanks to all who do offer their forecasts.

Its just a bit of fun and for all the matches so far I've only got three correct results.
Do please give it a go. Very small hurdle to catch up.
I only started competition because nobody else was doing one and that is reason for late start.
    Today I have:
    Hungary 0-1 Portugal
    France 1-0 Germany

I had Denmark to progress to Knockouts but with loss of their inspirational leader Christian Eriksen I no longer have that opinion. In fact I think Denmark will struggle to gain further points.
They looked disinterested and lethargic in 2nd half against Finland.

What the Euro's have above the World Cup is the different number of winners, such as Denmark and Greece.
Greece ain't in finals this year.
And last time Iceland put England out of competition and they ain't there either!!
