Looks like I picked the wrong race mate. The 225 was

13 first at 10/1
11 second at 12/1
5 fourth at 50/1

And fuck me if number 11 didn't go and win the next race as well at 9/1 Then number 7 won the 4.10 at 9/1 (was about 50/1 the night before so somebody knew something) but there weren't enough runners for me to ever have considered that race anyway .

Oh well . Normally get some big priced winners in the big spring handicaps and I think the extra places make the difference.

Two winners from two races so far with one to go.

Had to double check those prices with Vadream winning the 4pm race but it did indeed get backed in from 16/1 to 7/1. Returning 42.2 points and guaranteeing a profit on the day. Bagged 5th as well at double figures but only took 4 places on it.

Elfride won the 340 returning 28.4 points, making a total return of 70.6 points from the 34 points staked and taking us in front since restarting on 1st of April by 24.6 points with another race to come today,

As I've said before, there is no logic to this but it does keep returning a profit. As the Yanks annoyingly say, "Go figure"

Would you believe it, second in The Guineas at 125/1 . Another 26points in the bag which takes us to 50.6 points in profit since 1st April.
