I also hope it's not won/lost on an injury time goal. I know that it really makes no difference because we've all profited and lost by them over the course of the season (you more than most RC:wasnme) but there's just something about one on the last day that makes it hurt more - just ask Manchester United fans

I've profited more than most, or lost? From memory I think I've probably had a few of each, probably evened itself out over the season, although I could be wrong.

Only one that clearly sticks in my mind was a Gills winner well into stoppage time (against Orient I think it was) that gave me a winner and cost Winrew (who was on the draw) - in fact, I'm not sure but that might even have denied Winrew a 5-fold.

    Week 41 latest scores:

    Punter 2.3 (Southend draw)
    Slick 0
Kegman 4.05 (St Johnstone, Preston) with Boro to come
    Rcgills 4.4 (Stoke, Racing Santander)
ODM 1.87 (Spurs) with Boro draw to come
Traeth 1.05 (Preston) with Norwich to come
Winrew 1.58 (Leicester, Preston) with Boro to come

Provisional table pending the Championship playoff final tomorrow:

    Winrew 122.55
    Punter 121.82
    ODM 118.07
    RCGills 117.11
    Traeth 102.94
    Slick 100.91
    Kegman 91.14

Which means that nothing significant can change after tomorrow's games. Congratulations to Winrew, commiserations to Punter who ran him so close. ODM's just about done enough to hold me off (although he could still pull further clear tomorrow, not enough to catch Punter though).

Well done Wins and thanks all for the comp.

Not seen Yorkie about for a while but I put some money aside at Christmas just in case this happened.
Winrew, how do you want your fiver?

Don't bother Slick, he's still got a white one left from 1945 he hasn't broken into yet.

Hard to believe that only about 5 points cover the top four after an entire season mind. I think we should stick with the non-return of stakes again next season if we do it again. Makes it more difficult to score by just lumping on an odds on shot - a 1/10 shot only scored you 0.1pts this season as opposed to the 1.1 it would have scored you last season.

One of my better ideas I reckon (although Yorkie took some convincing).

Hope the geyser is OK. I'm hoping he's working his way around europe or America and doing a bit of growing up along the way. He's not a bad lad - just a bit frustrating at times.

Congrats Winrew, top tipping and well won. :clap

I only got so close due to the odds x 2 if you hit a five fold rule. I managed to get 2 of those up, i think one of them gave me an extra 6.5 ish points.

Well played the rest too, i hope this one runs again next season as i'm going to be using my weekly gambling allowance around it,
    5 x £5 wins, 5 x 50p 4 folds and a £2.50 accy, bosh!

Probs still show a loss but any returns would be put to Ante post betting. I've at least broke even this season without even trying. I did alright the year before too so i'll be back with an Anti Post thread linked to this come August.

Great comp' and thanks for the updates RC :clap
