Thanks for the welcome. Does anyone own or is anyone here interested in Dash or Zcash?

Just I'm thinking about branching out (from BTC and ETH) and these are the two that have caught my eye so far.

I also want to invest in cannabis somehow, but I suppose that's a thread for a different forum? There are so many options on both the recreational and medicinal side... consulting, producers, distributors, growing technology/services, hemp products, etc.

    Hi Rad,
I think you mean Ethereum lol.
You only register at the exchange where you want to buy the Cyrpto you want, I mentioned Tidex because I was after Wagerr, the main exchange is Binance which seems to offer the most coins.

    Good luck mate.

Took me ages to get verified with Coinbase, in the end I signed up with GDAX (same company) got verified by them in minutes and it also verified my coinbase account at the same time.

If you see a coin rising fast then beware in case it is being pumped, you could be buying a coin that is due to be dumped after a pump and you will lose money, look at the history of the coin and read about it on bitcointalk and Reddit first.

I did read about a canadian cannabis coin the other week, can't remember which one now.
If it's a crypto coin Space you can talk about it in this forum.

If your thinking about kitting out your loft use GC:lol

Haha I was thinking more about cannabis stocks, Slick! I mean buying shares in some company (probably Canadian) in the cannabis industry.

I'll see if I can find any info about the cannabis coin you mention. Sounds interesting.

I have just bought some Etherium at coinbase.com. If i want to by some altcoins with my Etherium Should I make another account at GDAX or my account at coinbase is valid at GDAX either ? How can i buy altcoins from GDAX ? Do i need to transfer my eherium to GDAX somehow or it is avaible there without any transfer ?

GDAX and coinbase are the same company, think of coinbase as Crypto for Dummies whilst GDAX is for the more experienced trader.

If you want to trade the major cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BTC cash or litecoin , then use GDAX because you can trade for no fees (see youtube vids on this first) alternatively the commission for trading on GDAX is lower than coinbase.

To trade in other cryptos you need to open an account at the Exchanges where the crypto you want is traded, to find this look at the coin on the 'coinmarketcap' website, and click on the 'markets' tab, this displays the exchanges where the coin is traded.

Saying that I can only see three which seems rather small considering it says it's had over 150k downloads.

    Wagerr Q&A session today.......

    Gatsby Great:
Q&A session with Wagerr Advisor @SuperTipstar

    1) How did the testing go?
Still in progress.Core issues look very much solved.

    2) Have any more spontaneous errors occurred during testing?
    No.

    3) Why are web tokens still locked?
It’s complicated. They were originally locked for security. The with release around the corner it didn’t make sense to unlock them when we would have a portal for the token swap direct from the site on release.I believe that’s the current thought.Nobody expected a delay of this kind.

    4) When will you release the coins?
Likely on release for the token swap.

    5) Time frame for release?Days/weeks?
Not weeks, but the release date will likely be a minimum of 3 days after the announcement of a date (which comes on completion of testing).

    6) Possible to expect H2H betting by World Cup time?
Heed 2 head will need a large testing period on public testnet (personally I would want a month of largely flawless test bets before release), but yes the World Cup is a definite target.

    7) What kinds of tests are being run today, entirely manual or is there a comprehensive automated suite?
Both manual and automated. At the same time there is not a “comprehensive automated suite”.Hiring an entire system test team would be a waste at this point.

    8) How large is the dev team currently?
Core dev team is more than 7 people.

    9) How soon after release will the code be made open source?
    Open source on release.

    10) Going forward is there a plan to improve communications?
Yes.Believe it or not we have improved communication from four months ago.We are very aware that it has not been enough and plans are in place to improve again after release.Right now release is the focus.I would like to see a weekly newsletter/update ala Oceanlab, and a weekly 1 hour Q&A somewhat like this in a dedicated channel on Discord with the team members rotating each week.If you have more ideas please DM me.We want to improve.

    11) Are you confident this product will achieve what’s laid out in the whitepaper?
    Absolutely.

    12) Do we have multiple dev teams? If so what is the total number of devs working on this?
Yes.Total number of devs is fluid as we have been constantly hiring.10+.We have devs currently working on the betting side of things too.

    13) How come it would need such a large test H2H on the testnet prior to actually taking bets?
Before switching over to “real” WGR where there is a real loss on any sort of error you need to have tested thoroughly.Internal testing is not enough when it comes to that.It needs to be flawless and undergo strenuous public testing.
Head 2 Head status is in development.I would like to see it on testnet within a month of release. However Oracles are deployed in 3 phases, so the proper answer is however long it takes to get those out.3 phases being: fixturing, resulting, formation of contracts.

    14) H2H on mainnet is supposed to be late Q1 2018. You have not even started the regular fork mainnet and said you hope to see testnet betting one month after release. There is no chance you can meet Q1 deadline.Adjusting the roadmap to prevent future disappointments and missed deadlines seems appropriate.

Roadmap is Q1, publicly we have been saying March to May target for H2H betting.Could be Q1.

    15) Any talks with teams or people to sponsor Wagerr?
Yes!Very excited about that actually.Private for now though, sorry.

    16) Will there be partnerships announced on launch?
    No

    17) Are you planning/willing to pay for listing on any exchanges after mainnet? We know it’s not cheap.
We are not unwilling.Nobody will touch the token while it is a temporary one.

    18) January 15th has come and gone, communication has been sparse.I still believe in the project, the team, and continue to hope for the best. Are we getting our “January 15th” launch sometime this month?

Hard to say given that it’s the 25th and weekend approaches.I would hope for the first week in February.

    19) Could you repeat the above in plain English
(soz, that's just me taking the piss lol)

Didn't see this Keggers but I basically answered the same question via Pm.

If you're thinking of starting investing in cryptos then I'd suggest opening a coinbase account while you're dwelling on it because that can take upto a fortnight.

    Has anyone used Poloniex?

As Bittrex isn't accepting new users, I'm looking for an alternative.

Can't say I have Space, looks very similar to Tidex, have you tried Binance or are you after a particular coin?
