Wagerr community on Telegraph is getting very excited over the last couple of hrs, it's been in the doldrums for weeks so I think something is about to happen.

Apparently the mainnet is launching at block 1500 (whatever that means) and is being built as I type, so it's a bit like a reverse countdown at the moment until we have lift off.

No but I'm beginning to kick myself fot not buying a couple when they were near the £50 quid mark during the slump a few weeks ago, In hindsight I was mad not to but at the time I thought we were going rock bottom it happened so fast. Good learning curve though and I'll be prepared next time.

Maybe the buy order was sold as he was putting his in and the next one at a slightly higher price for the same amount took him over his BTC balance.

I've also seen that message when I've been trying to buy alts with the remnants of bitcoin I have left, I think some alts have a minimum buy amount.

Looks like launch is imminent and the price is slowly creeping up, price now at around £0.30p but nobody selling for less than £0.36p

I'm tempted to sell 0.5 eth and lump on but promised myself never to trade while pissed so I'll hold off but probably live to regret it.

Since the middle of December when it peaked at £15,000 a coin BTC dropped 70% before recovering a bit to where it is now (still well off the highs). It's the worst drop I have been through. What is funnier is that the start of Feb saw a sell off in the traditional stock markets which caused them to drop 10%. It lasted a few days and then things turned around, already they have recovered half of it back. That made headline news on the BBC with dramatic words like PLUNGE and PANIC used. If only they knew what it was like to hold cryptos :lol.

Worth putting in context this is not the worst sell off btc has ever been through (although it is a bad one) and of course anyone that purchases crypto should know this happens on a very regular basis.

Unless you got in on the ICO Rad you can't buy it yet, it's still to be listed on an exchange and nobody at the moment knows when that will happen.
