I didn't trust Arsenal or Chelsea, thought that as Brighton have a decent home record, Huddersfield a poor away record, and Brighton have a tough run-in, they'd be looking to that game as the one to pretty much guarantee survival, but wasn't to be.

Thought the second leg of the CL was this week but it's not is it, it's week 31.
Extra fixtures this week, don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

14 games this week, only 6 the week after. Going to be tough for me to overcome a 60pt deficit with only 6 games, so definitely good news for you, I'd say.

I'll let others comment on this week's scores. I'm at a bit of a loss to explain my worst score of season.
But still never mind, FGR won away at Cheltenham and virtually assured themselves of Football League survival.

I'm not so sure mate, some tough fixtures and banana skins with the league tied up and European football next week too, I don't feel confident at all.

I see you've gone all in with your banker bonus on tomorrows game RC, I better go and do some maths and work out the possible outcomes.

And you've got your insurance on it. If I get a correct score, there's nothing you can do to stop me (mwah hah hah) regardless. That was an evil laugh, by the way. Just in case it wasn't clear :lookaround

I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to go for anyway (well, I know what I'd go for if it was the other way around, let's put it that way).

I'm like Arsenal - in terms of the league, my season was over weeks ago. This European competition is all I've got left, got to go for it.

I wouldn't bank on that because after week 29 you got -70 and I got -10 which gives me a difference of +60
And after this week to date you got +20 to my +70 which is a difference of +50

If my maths are correct that that gives me an advantage of +110 going into the final game.

With my insurance chip on that game and your banker bonus coming in, the most you would be able to muster if we were on different results is +90

    I think that's how it works anyhow:thinking

I actually struck lucky with my insurance chip because I forgot to put it on (I thought it was on the Bournemouth game which I got right) and only noticed that on Saturday night when checking that days results.

There's a nail biting finale in the other semi as the difference is only 25 pts:cold

I see Cleggys also got his Insurance chip so that leaves Villamick needing a correct score on a different result to Cleggy to go through to the final.

Erm ... :embarassed OK, ignore me. I was forgetting about the 1st leg, for some reason I thought this week's scores were the overall semi-final scores :leaving:spaz

Well done in that case, you're in the final :hatsoff

Coming to the end of season and it looks good for Cleggy & Slick to contest the Betnod title 2018, with Howson as a creditable outsider.
The two leaders have come good at right time of season so it is no surprise they are contesting the Betnod Cup Final on last day of Football season. Good luck to both but it looks likely whoever win the Cup will also win League, the two front runners are so closely tied.
But I don't care :naughty , FGR have almost assured themselves from being relegated from Football League with two wins in last two games. :beer

Fingers crossed with FGR Tom hoping they stay up.

I've not done the calculations yet but I believe we have £135 still outstanding in the paid IKTS.
Discussing this with Howson and Cleggy today I suggested sharing it with the CL winners but Howson was having none of it:lol

Seriously though, at the beginning of the season it was suggested to give the extra to the winner of IKTS but seeing as I'm so close to the top I don't think we can do that now because it was never verified.

So, Me, Howson and Cleggy have suggested he following.........

The outstanding £135 should be divided as follows.
    IKTS winner +£50
    IKTS second +£25
    IKTS third +£15
    IKTS fourth £+10

That leaves £35 for a Super Sunday on the final day.:dance

We thought that was the fairest way to share it but all thoughts appreciated:thumb
