upload_2018-8-13_22-1-18.png upload_2018-8-13_22-1-41.png I think there's been the usual knee-jerk reaction to Derby's hammering on Saturday and the price has drifted accordingly. Apparently only a brilliant display by their keeper prevented a hammering for Millwall on Saturday, albeit away from home. I reckon they'll get at least a point.

Before the weekend, there's a full non-league programme tonight. I've taken Wrexham to win at Maidenhead, although the 9/5 I got has gone. I think the price is based on league position rather than quality, with Maidenhead likely to struggle and Wrexham possibly making the play-offs. It's not a banker, but value against the 6/4 or so I'd have it.

Followed you with a draw no bet at evens mate. It’s a tactic ive often used for RCgills Spanish tips in the past and it has served me well

The very distant past now, must be years since I put up any Spanish tips. Good luck TC

Not really mate. Don't have the time to study anything in detail. Carried on betting for a while just for interest based on gut feeling, and was absolutely shit (yes, even worse than when I used to study the form :lol), so closed my only account to stop throwing money down the drain, don't bet at all these days.

Wise move. No coincidence that my profit graph has just started a downward trajectory in the last two weeks. I am garbage.

At least I have a winner tonight thanks to TC :thumb

I usually like the Prem to settle down for a few weeks before picking anything but there are a few tempters this weekend.

I think Cardiff look a decent price to get their season up and running, Newcastle while Ashley's in charge always look like a team in limbo to me and if it wasn't for Benitez would be nowhere near the Premiership, I can see this being the sort of game Warnock will relish.

I also like the look of Everton at nearly evens, they have the players to create a very good side and have placed a lot of faith in Marco Silva, If it pays off they'll be a very tough nut to crack.
Southampton of the other hand have placed their faith in Hughes who looks more dated by each passing season, I actually think Southampton will struggle this year and find themselves being in a similar situation to Stoke before the seasons out.

Leicester at home to newcomers Wolves should be a good game, Wolves are a very good footballing side but I think Leicesters Prem experience and home advantage could edge it here.

Burnley look a decent price but having played in the Europa league on Thursday night I'd rather leave it alone, wouldn't be surprised to see this end all square.

Palace at home @ 7's look rather large too, Palace are a decent team and will create chances against Liverpool.
I'm not saying they'll get a result but will run Liverpool closer than those odds suggest, could be one for the AH.

I'm on Ebbsfleet double chance at Barnet at 365's 4/5. Barnet are the stronger on paper but haven't yet settled this season with only two points from four games. Ebbsfleet are decent enough but normally I'd expect Barnet to win so this bet depends on Barnet still not clicking.

Elsewhere I'm on a non-adventurous Man City/Leeds/Billericay treble at slightly more than evens.

I'm also on Portsmouth at evens (v Oxford) because everyone else on the internet seems to be on them, so I can't take any credit if it comes off.

:beer Excuse the brag but it's not often I get a full house.

On a more disappointing note, Aldershot's start to the season had been 'disappointing', and I've already taken Sky's 6/5 on Ebbsfleet to beat us next Saturday. I don't yet think we're bad enough to be relegated, but I'm tempted to BetVic's 8/1 because we've got a difficult run of games coming up and I can see us being shorter in a couple of weeks :cry .

I'm on a couple tonight, both speculative where I think the bookies have fancied the home side more than I do, leaving some value with the away team. Wimbledon v Walsall, Carlisle v Port Vale both away sides are available for a fraction under 3/1, when I'd be a little shorter - around 5/2 on both.
