11.20 Turffontein - DANCE CLASS - Only hinted at ability in 2 starts to date, but ought to be capable of better at 11's.

11.55 Turffontein - MAJESTY RHEA - Up against the boys today, but here allowance along with the jockey claim give this one a shout at 16's.

12.30 Turffontein - KRATOS POWER - Couple of fair efforts in defeat and remains lightly raced. Stable debut today and should be capable of winning at 10's.

11.35 Kenilworth - ZACH - Backed the dam to her first time out win at 100's, so don't mind taking this one at 40's. Do suspect he will need further, but not sure the price should be so big.​

4.15 Sha Tin - ATHENA - Fair trial effort and by the decent Aussie sire Snitzel, so could easily go well in moderate looking company.

5.45 Sha Tin - COOL ACE - Not beaten far on debut and improved on 2nd start. Should be more to come from this one.

6.50 Sha Tin - OOGA CHAKA - Gelded since last run and was 2 from 4 over here, so can hopefully put his pair of bad runs at the track behind him.

7.50 Sha Tin - SHANGHAI GRACE - Solid enough when trained by Charles Hills and will probably come on for this run. Don't mind taking a chance at the expected price.

11.40 Scottsville - RED HOT NIGHT - One of the more exposed of these and a bit inconsistent, but every chance on best 2 pieces of form at 12's.

12.50 Scottsville - ANTIGONUS - Has won at the track and ran well here last time, so definite EW chance for his new trainer at 16's.

2.00 Scottsville - AMOR ARDIENTE - Beaten just over 5 lengths in a listed handicap last time and has 2 decent places form 2 over c & d. Fair looking EW shout at 14's.

2.35 Scottsville - IMPERIAL SEAL - RETRIAL looks the sensible one at 9/2, so a covering bet on that, but IS holds fair recent form and she will enjoy the step back up in trip at 14's.

2.20 Huntingdon - PETRASTAR - Decent, without winning on the flat for Clive Cox and an interesting recruit to hurdling at 10's.

2.50 Huntingdon - MINELLA RISING - Not a lot since leaving Polly Gundry, but declining mark and step back up to 3m,offers hope at 66's.

5.30 Huntingdon - GUMBO FLYER - Nicely bred newcomer and the stable still gets the odd winner at 18's.

4.45 Wolverhampton - PIKE CORNER CROSS - In fair enough form and not sure he should be 12's.

2.10 Navan - LUCREZIA BORJA - Quite nicely bred on debut at 100's.

7.30 Southwell - INTENSE STYLE - 6f on fibresand could be just what this one wants at 20's.

2.33 Greyville - TWICE AS SMART - Edging down the weights and easiest assignment in a while at 20's.

3.05 Greyville - METEOREIGHT - Slowly improving and does not look the strongest of races at 12's.

6.45 Kempton - TRIGGER HAPPY - Green both starts, but showed enough on debut for me to take a chance at 80's.

11.45 Vaal - IMPERIAL TWILIGHT - Reasonably bred sort on debut and has a nice draw at 40's.

1.35 Vaal - AMBERGLO STAR - Showed enough in first 3 starts and then went off 6's last time. Ran very poorly that day, so questions to answer, but 25's is enough to tempt.

2.45 Vaal - SEVENTH OF JUNE - Course winner who is edging back to best form at 12's.

3.20 Vaal - TWICE AS SPECIAL - Not a lot since winning his maiden, but only beat 4 lengths last time and not sure he should be 25's in this field.

5.45 Dundalk - TALKING TOUGH - Bit to find with the odds on, but capable of getting into the money at 10's.

7.30 Wolverhampton - THE GAME OF LIFE - Excellent chance based on Irish runs and 66's is a value price for him to recapture said form.

8.15 Dundalk - NOUHIME - Interesting American pedigree on debut at 25's.

8.45 Dundalk - ABBY'S MAGIC - Maiden runs hinted at ability and getting at least a stone form all of these so happy taking a chance at 40's.

10.30 Turffontein - EL ROMIACHI and FRIENDS FOREVER - Notebook horse in the shape of IDEAL WOLFF, but too short for me as a single at 3's. Added it to the above pair for the combination forecast, with both looking possible outsiders at 25's.

12.10 Turffontein - SAINTS ALIVE and ROUGE ALLURE - Neither is a prolific winner, but both are capable of smart form and both come here of the back of decent looking last runs. Could see one / both getting involved at 33's.

1.55 Turffontein - BATTLE OF ALESIA - Back off a short break and was 2/1 in his last race over Christmas. Bit different today at 40's and running well enough to be thereabouts.

2.15 Gowran Park - ROYAL RHYTHM - Not keen on the odds on and this one has enough winners in his pedigree to be of interest at 66's.

4.10 Turffontein - BUFFALO SOLDIER - Makes stable debut off a potentially very nice mark at 25's.

6.30 Chelmsford - MDINA - Nicely bred and starts out over a suitable looking trip at 20's.

7.00 Chelmsford - POETIC ERA - Never nearer 5th last time off a break. Will be sharper for that, is back up in trip and is getting weight all round at 14's.

8.00 Chelmsford - FAIR POWER - In fair form and decent 3lb claimer booked at 10's.

8.30 Chelmsford - JUST NORMAN - Never travelling last time, but would have needed that run, so fair enough to let him coast a bit. Interesting jockey booking for this one who sports the first time cheekpieces at 50's

11.50 Grevyille - SERAPHINA - Stable 2nd string, but is on debut for the Louis Goosen yard. Best form has her going close at 33's.

2.10 Greyville - OUR COYS - Slow starts becoming a concern, but has a handy pull with the FAV, is on 3rd run back off a break and tends to need a couple of outings back, so should be cherry ripe today at 20's.

2.45 Greyville - LINNBARA - Fair couple of runs to date and can improve again today at 20's.

3.25 Southwell - CASINO DE NOTTE - Fair recent 2nd here and should be thereabouts at 10's

4.20 Naas - SEAN HOGAN - Top owner/ trainer combination and interesting on debut at 20's

5.10 Warwick - GUILLEMOT - Nicely bred newcomer, though the Daly yard not done a lot this year in Bumpers. Bit of value for me at 33's

5.20 Naas - ROYAL KAHALA - Do like the look of Philippa Sue, but this does look a tough race and bit short for me at 6's. Small covering bet though and also adding it for the Forecast. RK appeals more at 16's as the stable does well in this sphere and can get one ready.

12.25 Greyville - STATUTE - FAV's claims are hard to ignore, but the pick was not beaten far last time and the form has been boosted by the 5th. Really should not be 22's.

2.40 Flamingo Park - TOWN FLYER - Continues to fall in the weights and also eased in class today at 33's. Best form has been at tight tracks, so if he is to bounce back to form, it will more than likely be here.

5.35 Warwick - EATON COLLINA and ACHY BREAKY HEART - Pair of lively outsiders, both at 40's.
