So, here we stand, we few, we loyal few, we band of brothers. Standing in a thin red line against the invading hordes from across the sea. The battle is nearly done, the hour is almost here, the hour of our victory is at hand.
One final push, one mighty effort, to push the invaders back into the channel, sending them back from whence they came. Our breath is ragged, our souls weary, but the ultimate honour of defending our island home is thrust upon each and every one of us. This is our crown of thorns, our calvary, indeed our Rorkes Drift, and we take heart from those that have gone before. They watch down on us from on high, willing each and every one of us to do our duty to the best of our ability, our strength, our heart.
Just 7 points separate us from our destiny, after the hard miles were done in the first week. Uncle Winrew has since added another point after his opponent rather jumped from the cliffs under pressure, and many more will follow.
We have to stand up, we have to take ourselves home. There'll be no holding of hands, holding of hands get kind of clammy on me. Who'll be our role model, now that our role model has gone....gone....gone....he ducked back down the alley with some fat faced little girl......errr, yes.
