No you didnt. You were just competing mostly against shit teams. Foreign teams have got better, foreign players have learned to play football and are technically more gifted than they were and England can't streamroller them anymore.

The ones that arent are more priffeasional than they were and are tactically able to set up to get results against Enhland.

In short, they have learned to play football better than we have. Thats why we pay a lot of them to play here. Cos our players arent good as good as them.

Chicken and egg. You just have it the wrong way around but you can be forgiven because you're only regurgitating the same shit that the so called experts come out with

The loss of football in the streets has been a big loss to English talent too, imo. With cars and traffic you just cant play football outside your front gate anymore.

Partly true but that's what happened in days when we had nothing else/better to do mate. Now there are a million things that kids can do which means that even if only one car passed every hour they wouldn't be out on the street's cos there wouldn't be enough of them to get together cos most of them would be doing some other shit (the list is almost endless.... facebook, twitter, forums, live football, downloading music, youtube, online porn...etc etc etc). There are betting things to be spending your time on. If you live in a ghetto in Rio, you have a rolled up ball off newspaper to play with and everyone you know is doing the same thing.

    Traeth 1.9 (Bournemouth, Palace)
    Kegman 0.95 (Palace)
    Slick 0.7 (Spurs)
    Howson 0
    Kristobal 0
    Nawoo 0
    ODM 0
    Punter 0

    Week 40 table:

    1. Slick 132.25
    2. Howson 131.85
    3. Traeth 121.89
    4. Newman 121.19
    5. Rcgills 117.83
    6. ODM 110.89
    7. Nawoo 107.16
    8. Kristobal 104.99
    9. Punter 103.86
    10. Kegman 101.76
    11. Winrew 88.70

Highest weekly score: Howson 18.44 week 15

Terrible scores for most this week (mainly due to some making one final desperate bid to break into the top places), but Slick won't care. A rare slip from Howson, 0pts for him, and although Slick can only manage 0.7 himself, it's enough to take him top with one week left, ending Howson's 25 week reign at the top. Nailbiting finish guaranteed next week. Feel free to PM me your picks, you two, if you feel you don't trust the other one :lol

Great weekend for Newman, his beloved Forest Green promoted to the football league for the first time in their history, and he's top scored this week, giving himself a chance of cracking the top 3 still. It looks like the title's a shootout between Slick and Howson though, unless anyone can come up with the 5-fold they'd need to stand a chance. Good luck all.

    Check your scores.

Yes, congratulations Tom, brilliant news. I have to admit i thought Tranmere would win but pleased to see FGR get there. So close last year, a great little club with friendly fans. Nice one.

Been there twice with Gillingham, for the defeat against Man City and the win against Wigan. The playoffs are a great way to go up if you win them, horrible way to lose though.

    Absolutely agree with last sentence.
Was at Wembley last season when FGR lost and this year when we won.
    So know both emotions.
Felt terrible for the Tranmere fans because they came over to the FGR supporters and wished us well next season.
