10.10 Sha - Tin - MR GENUINE - Not won for over a year, but in fair form at present and has bagged a good draw. Decent young jockey booked and looks a decent EW shout at 14's

Most unusual ground conditions in Scottsville today, with it coming up heavy. Generally, it will come up good or G/S, or there will be too much rain and the meeting will be abandoned. Gonna be tough to find even a dozen pieces of heavy ground form among today's runners, so going on breeding a bit and also taking several leaps of faith -

11.30 Scottsville - Going with 3 in the opener -

BRONZED ( Fair debut on soft and can improve again at 20's )
GALAXY TUNES ( Slow out on debut, but did hint at promise. Can do better at 33's )
HOLY LAND ( Nicely bred newcomer at 50's )

12.00 Scottsville - GYPSY QUEEN - Connections have not dodged softer ground with this one, who is capable of fair form at 14's.

12.35 Scottsville - Again going with 3 and hoping for an upset in the conditions -

HOMETOW HERO ( Useful front - runner at 11's )
ROY'S BABOON ( Flying Spur was a champion sire in South America for many years and his progeny will have seen a lot of heavy ground. Does need to improve a lot though as 100's suggests )
WINTER WOLF ( Does have experience on softer going, but would need the first time blinkers to have effect. Another available at 100's )

1.50 Tramore - JUNIOR'S ANGEL - Hinted at ability in Fairyhouse bumper last October. Does need to leave behind latest run and back off a break today, but still some EW appeal at 33's.

2.25 Newcastle - MUFTAKIM - Nicely bred newcomer at 16's

3.25 Longchamp - PHARRELL - Good career form to date and should appreciate the stamina test today at 16's.

5.15 Cork - POLYMNIA and MONEY IN MY POCKET - Taking an EW chance with both of these at 25's and 33's respectively.

5.20 Ffos Las - LIBERTY BELLA - Decent first couple of efforts and not sure he should be 22's based on that.
