Horse Racing Bets Tuesday 31st January

Workriders day over in South Africa, so the races should be ripe for a couple of upsets -

11.40 Vaal - REMINISCENSE - Turned out again quickly after fair comeback run from 11 weeks off. Top 2 represent leading stables, but IMO this is the best of the " rags " at 20's.

12.50 Vaal - RUNNING FURY - Improving in lengths with every run, could be ready to contest soon, though does need to improve a fair bit to win. Could easily envisage a place at 40's.

1.25 Vaal - ROYAL STANDARD - Poor second run under Strydom, but such a jockey booking suggests there is something there, drops in trip but needs to show more, though could not rule that out at 33's

2.00 Vaal - TRUTH OF BEAUTY - Moderate recently, but 2 fair efforts for this jockey and has placed this trip, may improve again for top stable and would expect better today at 11's.
