Glad you mentioned that because I started watching it a while back then realised after it went off it was the airing of the first bleeding episode. So decided to wait until the series finished then forgot about it in the meantime.

Starting to now wish I never got Netflix because I can't get a sniff in anymore due to her watching crime documentaries.

They're doing a season 2 of "The Terror" weirdly but using a completely different story. I knew of the expedition beforehand Slick (googled it) and was really interested to see how they'd realise it on screen. It's brilliant in my opinion; even knowing how it ends. WATCHING THEM FALL APART is fascinating. Oh! And the writer added a supernatural element to it. Brilliant acting too. Looks amazing. I'd applaud it if I wasn't typing.

Any Black Mirror fans in? Can't remember if I spoke about it here because I've posted so much about it over the years. Another show that keeps me awake at night. "Yeah.. fuck... imagine if.... oh God.. OH GOD!!"

Anyway! I love Charlie Brooker and even Adam Buxton and they had chat that I found funny and interesting.

Cheers Mickey, I'll watch it all in one arrow when I get the chance.

Seen's a big Black Mirror fan, I tried to get into it but just couldn't so sacked it after about 3 or 4 episodes, in fact it was the episode where some woman's husband dies and she orders another one by mail order, thought it was fcuking crackers lol.
My daughter loves it too but I just didn't get it.

Been watching 'The Staircase' on Netfix over the weekend.
It's a behind the scenes court case about the Writer Michael Peterson who found his wife dead at the bottom of their staircase with her head caved in.
His argument is that she fell down the stairs and bashed her head while the defence claim he gave her a twatting with a blow poke.

It's been brilliant, I usually switch off when I watch long court case type dramas but this has me hooked,s o much so that I've been getting up fcuked since I've been watching it because I've been watching 'just one more episode' before bed which leads to another one before bed then another,

Cheers Slick, I might give that one a go.

Finished Killing Eve, was pretty good. Currently watching Travelers, a time-travel show which is quite entertaining. 2nd season is getting a bit confusing with the current events changing the future, but still worth a watch.

Just started watching the comedy Sick Note about a layabout lad who is misdiagnosed with cancer but decides to keep up the pretence as everyone is treating him nicely for a change. Pretty funny so far.

Yes, think it's 6th August in the US, a day later in Spain, I'd guess it's the same for you in the UK too :thumb Been re-watching series 3 this week, can't remember half of what happened

Yeah, think I'll have to do that.
Went straight into the 4th series of Bosch and didn't have a bleeding clue what was going on even with the wee recap intro before it started.

Watched The Staircase on your recommendation, Slick. Really enjoyed it. Opinion of whether or not he did it swung back and forth throughout. Whichever argument you could put forward for one side can be countered I feel, I guess we'll never know.

Season 2 of The Sinner is currently halfway through, can't remember if we talked about Season One previously on this thread but it's well worth a watch - especially with the tremendous Carrie Coon in it.

Sasha Baron Cohen's Who Is America sees him almost back to his best, imo. Some proper cringeworthy moments, half of his victims are threatening to sue :D

Films I've watched lately, Ready Player One was a decent romp, worth a watch even if you're not in to gaming. Features the best CGI I have ever seen, some breathtaking scenes, especially the race early on in the movie.

A Quiet Place was really good too, a suspenseful thriller where most of the human race has been wiped out by sightless creatures who hunt by sound, they are brutal and fast and will kill anything that makes a sound. Wouldn't have thought a movie with hardly any dialogue could be pulled off this well but it does it perfectly. A sequel is due out in 2020 I think.

A Prayer Before Dawn is based on a true story of a guy who gets flung in prison in Thailand, let's just say these prisons are not like you'd find in the UK and it's brutal as fuck. Well worth checking out.

I was the same but by the end of it I think I was more swayed towards him doing it, did you see the 'Owl' theory put forward in the little clip at the end of the series, apparently it could have held some weight from what I read about it afterwards but wasn't submitted by the defence.

I enjoyed 'A quiet place' although at times the suspense nearly killed me when they started doing silly things like having a bleeding baby amongst it all:lol, It was good and a few things happened that I didn't expect which I'll keep mum about in case anybody else wants to watch it.

'A Prayer before dawn' sounds like something that's up my street, I'll try and give it a watch this weekend.

If anybody's thinking of watching 'Hereditary', Don't, it's two and half hrs you'll never get back.

Started watching Ozark series 2 last night and have to admit after 15 mins I was lost, ended up watching the last two episodes of series one for a recap and to get back into the swing of things.
It's excellent and series 2 jumps straight back into the action.
