What’s it on mate? I’ll look for it . i must admit i skim past a lot of stuff in here cos i didn’t have Amazon (and probably won’t again in the new year) and all this downloading apps to fire stick is not for me. if i can’t find something to watch from a thousand sky channels, Netflix, prime and catchup/box set TV there’s something wrong. most of the time i’m chasing a unicorn because, at best, the stuff i end up watching is no better than the stuff i could record on sky. i oau for movies at the moment and download at least four a week but three out of four of the m are fucking awful (Anything with an all black or 80% female lead line up is guaranteed to be fucking useless) The exception to that is black monday which i think i’ve mentioned before. the lead bloke was in a very similar series which i also liked with Kirsten/Kristen Bell in it. talk to me about Vigil. everyone i know without a brain seems to like it but it doesn’t really appeal to me but i can be pursued
I think you have to pay for it on Prime if you can't watch it on the firestick mate. Shame as it's a high quality show and I know you'd love it. Agree with you about movies nowadays, so hard to find a decent one in amongst mountains of crap.
If you have dropbox I can send you the episodes via that? https://www.dropbox.com/s/04n2thg7me4d604/Mr Inbetween S01E01 The Pee Pee Guy.mkv?dl=0 Try and download that, the first episode.
I don’t even know what dropbox is lol. I assume you have to have an account. Is it free? if so, i’ll have a look into it tomorrow cos i’ll be busy till then. Pretty full on weekend in fact so it may be monday but thanks mate
It's free yes, but I don't think you need an account. You can either click on that link and watch it on your PC or download the file, pop it on a USB stick and stick that in your telly to watch it (assuming your TV plays USBs).
I enjoyed Vigil ODM although some of the bits were a bit far fetched and I'm still trying to work out the main reason why some of the characters needed to be there. Most of the episodes left you thinking what was going to happen next so for that purpose alone I kept looking forward to it every Sunday night.
Odm, I take it you're watching Amazon prime on a firestick? Seen. have you tried Real-Debrid with the latest Kodi add-ons? Real debrid costs about £16 quid for 6 months but it brings Kodi alive.
This probably deserves a thread of it's own but the new upcoming Beatles documentary on the Disney Channel looks very interesting and right up my street......
Watched the 9 episodes in one sit in, on Sunday. Great stuff. I wont add to what you've already said but totally agree that episode six was quite awesome.
Caught up with couple of TV series I've been wanting to watch for a long time this week. Managed to watch the whole of Band of Brothers and 4/5ths of the way through Narcos Mexico. Band of Brothers reminded me of Saving Private Ryan and it was no surprise to read it was created on the back of SPR using the same props and locations. It's a long watch and quite touching at times but is too Americanised for my liking, if it just left the door ajar to appreciate the efforts of others then it would have been a lot more realistic. Saying that I found the Interviews with the real life vets before each episode heart warming and the revealing of their names after the final episode very emotional. Narcos Mexico imo is much better than Narcos because it was produced under the illusion the viewer has already watched Narcos, hence the reason characters from Narcos freely flow into Narcos Mexico and straight away you know who they are. I've still got 5 episodes to go of series three, and that's after binge watching for nearly two days straight of the series. It's brilliant so far but to get the full effect of the series without being confused you really do need to watch the original 'Narcos' series first then then Narcos Mexico straight after.
I've been meaning to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm for many years but had never got round to it. Downloaded the first 8 seasons and have watched the first season so far, it's as funny as I thought it would be. First two episodes of the new Dexter season have been decent so far.
Quite surprised about that, like. I would have thought a show about a grumpy old bastard moaning about everyone and everything would have been right up your street
