Groves could be a good shout at those odds if he defeats Froch, even Froch at those odds because that fight is going to take the limelight for a couple of months and expect the winners odds to tumble and lay off straight after.
Just a pity the fight isn't later on in the year to stay in the public's mind.

    Steven Gerrard 40/1 Betfred.

Obviously one from the heart, I LOVE HIM!! :inlove

He'll need to win the premier league and England would need a good-ish run in the world cup in order for him to have any chance.

    That's no chance then.

Payday today and a silly bet on him, but i'm on.

I'd be looking for a lot more than that tell the truth Punt love or not lol.
His only chance is if England win the WC and we know we have no chance of that, saying that his odds are still a lot better than Englands odds of winning the WC; so if anybody thinks England can pull off a miracle and fancy's putting cash on it then backing Gerrard for SPOTY would be a better bet as he'd be shoe in, I can't find any odds on team SPOTY to compare.
Either way I'd say it's zero chance but GL anyhow Punt and how I'd love to see it come in for England's sake.

I'd like to think he'd have a chance if Liverpool won the league too Slick. They almost certainly wont, but they are 8/1 so i thought i'd have a little on the 40/1 instead.
England are 33/1 to win the WC so maybe a little value there too.

It's just a small insurance bet in case of a miracle. No big loss :)

Just a little bit more on my main man. There's still a little bit of 33/1 left but i'm self excluded from Bet365 and i dont trust Stan James so a small bet with Corals @ 25/1.

    Ladbrokes have him a 12/1

Corals just turned me down for a further bet at 20/1, so i've hit Baldy Fred with it instead.

I'm not saying Liverpool will win the premier lge, i still think City will win it, but 9/4 for a Liverpool title or 20/1 for Stevie G to win Spoty 2014 i know where the value lies.

If Liverpool do win the PL, Stevie G will almost certainly win SPOTY 2014.

Believe Punt believe, I've been telling you for the last 2 or 3 months I fancy Liverpool to do it; the big game changer today though is that it's now in their own hands.
Now the pressure is on from here on in and it's all about how they can handle it, it's not that easy even when the final run in looks a piece of piss.

The Liverpool v City game now looks the biggest game of the season but believe me it's not a decider, there's a lot more twists and turns to come yet, whoever relaxes most after that game is going to come unstuck if they ain't careful.
I do believe though that the title is now between Liverpool and City, I ain't dismissing Chelsea but whilst they are still in the Champs league they do have a major distraction which is doing them no good.

Yes Slick, agreed, and what a season it's been. I still think Chelsea are very much in it too, but like you say they do have CL as a distraction.

Gerrard for SPOTY 2014 has been the biggest supported bet on Oddschecker all day. As short as 6/1 with Stan James, Ladbrokes are best priced and on their own @ 12/1.

I wont lie, i've piled in (by my standards) with my worst price @ 20/1. I'm going to cover the British golfers before the Masters and then just sit and hope (fucking pray) that Liverpool win the title and that England have a decent WC.

    Ronnie Sullivan, anyone? :unsure

Even if GB & Europe win the Ryder cup it'll most likely be the team award, if Lewis Hamilton doesn't win the F1 title then he's fecked.

If a golfer wins the open he'll most prob be home and hosed

    Scratch head ???
