Denver take on Seattle in a game that looks very close. Don't like to say it as a divisional rival to my Raiders, but going with Denver to win by 3. Don't see a scorefest, but something in the region of 27-24. Not worrying too much about the " outrights " though and going to look for bigger prices in the TD and Most Valuable Player markets -

    FIRST TD SCORER

Zach Miller ( SEA ) Ex Raider, who is having less individual success with the Seahawks, but is a reliable Tight End. Knows where the end zone is and chances at 20's. 125/1 for MVP so probably worth a small bet for that as well.

Luke Wilson ( SEA ) Back up Tight End, but is a legit threat downfield. Might just have a linebacker covering him and could get open if the Denver defense bite on a run fake. Just 20 catches on the year for 272 yards and one TD, so risky, but the team do have plays where both Tight End's are on the field, so should see plenty of playing time for a 33/1 shot.

Trindon Holliday ( DEN ) Kick off returner, so may have a chance to shine. Has returned TD's in the past and I am sure our resident Bears Fan ( Pete 89 ) will remember Chicago scoring from the opening Super Bowl kick off a few Years ago.

    MVP AWARD

Doug Baldwin ( SEA ) Six wide receivers have won the award and not sure the Seattle QB will do enough to win it. All of the main receivers are good enough, but DB is certainly talented and his recent performances have been excellent.

Shaun Phillips ( DEN ) Veteran player, first with San Diego and now with Denver. Has always got to the QB during his career and I do see them trying to put pressure on Russell Wilson. Huge longshot, but probably not a 125/1 shot.

Jermaine Kearse ( SEA ) Helped get them there with the final TD catch against the 49ers. Definite deep threat and just looks a shade big at 150's.

If anybody fancies a low scoring affair, both kickers are available at 250/1. Denver's Matt Prater, does hold the record for the longest Field Goal in NFL History ( 64 yards ) and is generally accurate. Either would need to score 5 or 6 field goals ( with 2 or 3 coming from 50+ yards ) but probably still not 250/1 shots.

Interesting start, with the first snap sailing over Payton Manning's head and being grounded by Denver in the End Zone for a 2 point Safety for Seattle

Denver have been horrible so far, but still only 8 behind. Seattle need a touchdown to really put the pressure on.

Seattle did punch it in from the 1yd line and then added another 7 points from an Interception. 22 - 0 now and safe to say, no - one saw this coming.
