It doesn't get much closer in betting than that.
Heart says Argies, head says France
Ditto Punt, I'd like to see Argentina do it for Messi's sake but France have picked up a nice habit of winning when it matters.
I'm on Morocco too, I've been highly impressed with them , they've caused everybody they have faced problems and look physically very strong.
I should also imagine 3rd place means a lot to them while (and i could be wrong here) third place playoffs for most European sides is just seen as a formality and most players will be looking forward to going home having seen themselves as failures in the Semi. Whereas Morocco will be wanting to push themselves as much as possible to become the most to date successful African side ever.
At the end of what has been my worst footballing competition for betting EVER I find myself needing France to lift the trophy to move the experience from "disastrous" to "shit show". I don't know if that's what is making me fancy the Argies on Sunday or whether it was France's tepid performance against England.
What a final! Brilliant stuff. Glad for Messi, what a career.
I had a really poor start, terrible. Group games i'm passing over next WC, betting in knockout stages only next time for me. Should of learnt from last world cup.
My picks were that shite early on i stopped posting them. So many losers, thankfully only shrapnel, but they were starting to add up.
I then then talked myself into my biggest bet, Argentina @ 9/2 and that winning gave me a small profit.
And i actually boosted that profit by backing the draw @ 9/1, when Deschamps made those two substitutions at 2-0 down, just before half time.
I've loved every minute of this winter world cup. We've got to go back to teams like Everton and Bournemouth now.
Yeah it wasn't a bad final
